This film is dedicated to Mary Louise Carpenter, the orphaned, child mill worker who grew to become my grandmother.
Dr. Dawn Carpenter is an award-winning ethicist and podcast host based in Washington, DC. She is the director of the Solidarity Economy Workshop at Georgetown University and has served as a banker to social purpose corporations for over two decades.
