As seen through the eyes of nine year old Sarah McInaw, this black and white film beautifully captures the remarkable dedication, skills and insights of her Grandfather Patsy McInaw, a man of wit and wisdom who has masterfully constructed over two miles of dry stone walls on his farm in Mountcharles, County Donegal.

I am interested in making films that create a respectful, passionate and deep connection to this Earth and the living systems that depend upon it.
Director Michael Mc Monagle grew up near to Mountcharles in County Donegal. After University he worked in Community Development and as manager for preventative services in Child Care. He has had two travel books published; Walking the Backroads by Appletree Press and Footprints Across America by Orpen Press. Following retirement he completed a film making course in the Nerve Centre in Derry and is now enthusiastically pursuing a new passion.
