Submitter Statement

Ben & Gary: Streaming has been in the works for over 2 years including writing, shooting, and editing. We are so proud of the film and we can't wait for audiences to see it. There aren't a lot of great comedies being made today due to budgets and theater box office sales, amongst other factors, and we wanted to make a low-budget, high-laugh comedy for all to enjoy. We hope this accomplishes that goal and we hope you enjoy it, truly.

Ben Hilzer and Jayme Cole have been creating content for almost 15 years. Their main focus, in all endeavors, is to entertain audiences. If you don't entertain the audience, you'll never gain their trust, and they want you to trust them with your time. They founded Letterpress Films in 2021 and released their debut film, "Clink. Shoot.": a thriller about two brothers who are caught up in a corrupt gambling deal, in 2022. "Clink. Shoot." enjoyed a nice festival run including the Miracle Makers International Film Festival in Los Angeles, the Grand Mesa Film Festival, and the Colorado Short Circuit Film Festival. They released "Ben & Gary: Streaming" in 2024 and the comedy special marks their first large-scale production. The special was produced with outside collaborator Gary John Miller of Best Worst Cantina.
