Don Dixon, a talented visual artist, wears many creative hats. With over 20 years of experience in art, design, and animation, he has left his mark on various projects, capturing the imagination of audiences worldwide.
Born in North Carolina in 1978, Don Dixon grew up in a household where a 7-foot robot looked after him and his sisters. His father, a creator of robots for companies like Atari and Worlds of Wonder, eventually moved the family to California. This early exposure to technology and creativity shaped Don’s artistic journey.
After majoring in Visual Arts at the Interlochen Arts Academy, Don continued his education at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He later completed his studies at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, earning a BFA in Animation and Digital Media. His first job was at WMS Gaming in Chicago, where he honed his skills in both 2D and 3D animation12.
Don’s passion for art and animation has only grown stronger over the years. He loves to laugh and collaborates with teams to create exciting new visions. His impressive portfolio includes work on feature films such as “The Book of Life,” “Free Birds,” “Rock Dog,” “Sherlock Gnomes,” “Ugly Dolls,” and “SCOOB!”. Additionally, he has contributed to television and video game animation and even illustrated for Rolling Stone Magazine.

His goal is to ignite the flame of creativity in people and businesses.
